A thematic collection of articles (https://www.acta.sapientia.ro/acta-euro/euro15.htm) entitled Ratio civilis was guest edited by Ferenc Hörcher in the journal European and Regional Studies. The collection introduces urban ways of thinking in early modern Central Europe, and more particularly, in the Kingdoms of Hungary and Poland. Beside the articles by two other researchers, the reader finds an introductory article by Ferenc Hörcher, entitled Ratio Civilis: The Central European Experience of the Early Modern City (https://www.acta.sapientia.ro/acta-euro/C15/euro15-01.pdf), and an article by Kálmán Tóth on the educational policies of the town council of early modern Sopron, Hungary, with the title The Educational Policy of the Sopron Town Council in View of the Lutheran Lycée's Historiography (https://www.acta.sapientia.ro/acta-euro/C15/euro15-03.pdf).
